Liberals across the country have elected the new Liberal Party leader and Canada’s next Prime Minister. I’m thrilled that Mark Carney has stepped into this role. With his experience as Governor of the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England, I believe his leadership will drive economic growth while keeping Canadians and our environment a priority.
Our government has made important strides in supporting families, seniors, and people with disabilities. We've also focused on green jobs, but now it’s time to restore fiscal responsibility and build a strong, thriving economy.
