Money collected through the federal pricing of carbon emissions gets paid out to Yukoners every three months through the Yukon Carbon Rebate. It’s automatic — and everyone gets it, no matter how much money you make. By making carbon pollution expensive, carbon pricing encourages big polluters to opt for greener alternatives.
